Greenwich Wine and Food Festival 2013

Hey guys, want to get out of the city for a weekend? Here is an awesome foodie festival we thought you should know about. This is the third annual Greenwich Wine and Food Festival and it’s a guaranteed awesome weekend. When is it you ask? October 3-5, 2013. Why do you need to be excited? First of all, the festival is on 6.3 acres of property and there will be spirit vendors and chefs offering awesome gourmet tastings throughout. Some of the chefs you will be rubbing elbows with include, Richard Blais, Joe Bastianich, Duff Goldman, Michael PsilakisĀ and Ray Lampe, just to name a few of the many. (I almost peed my pants when I heard about Michael Psilakis doing a demo on making a one-pot Greek paella.) There will also be live music both days and on Friday, a performance from country music star, Pat Green. Yeeehaaaaaw!

This event is brought to you by Serendipity Magazine, and supports Paul Newman’s The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. This organization is dedicated to “providing a different kind of healing” to children and their families coping with cancer, sickle cell anemia and other serious illnesses. The proceeds from the “kick-off” party and the auctions will benefit the organization. So, not only will you get to enjoy awesome food, drink and music, but you will be giving back and helping out a great cause. Tickets range from $150-$600 so they are quite reasonable for an entire action packed weekend full of food, drink and music. Get your hands on some tickets and get out to the Greenwich Wine and Food Festival!
