Looking to enjoy some top-notch BBQ and grilling this summer without breaking the bank? Check out Beef on a Budget, this Tuesday, June 30th, to learn how to enjoy creative, delicious meals without spending all your pennies. You don’t have to drop big bucks at a fancy-pants steakhouse to eat great beef. In this hands on demonstration, you’ll discover how to make the most of inexpensive cuts and classic cooking techniques.
The class is hosted by the Bowery Culinary Center, which offers classes for all skill levels with some of New York’s best chefs, along with some of Whole Foods Market’s in-store food gurus. For this class the instructor is Min Liao, the Culinary Center Director. The menu will include Lebanese Beef Kafta with Fattoush Salad; Butcher’s Steak with Dandelion Greens and Strawberry Salsa, Grass-Fed California Cheeseburgers with Avocado Crema.
The class is located at Lower East Side Whole Foods Market on the second floor of the store (behind Whole Body). Tickets are $40 and can be purchased here.
