This Saturday and Sunday, June 13th and 14th, head down to Bedford Avenue for Williamsburg Walks. From 1-6pm the street will be closed to vehicles from Matropolitan Avenue to North 12th Street, turning one of Brookyln’s busiest streets into an artistic street fair, filled with food, vendors, art and music.
With the help of local organizations like Triskelion Arts, 11th Street Workshop, and Project Art, the street will host pop-up parks, live painting exhibitions, music, performance art, and other interactive activities. In addition, local cafes, restaurants, and bars will have expanded outdoor seating. The event will happen rain or shine, so come on down to Williamsburg this weekend and try the best of Bedford Ave.
Check out www.nyc.gov for more info about Williamsburg Walks, as well as many other summer “walks” throughout the New York area.
