Duvel USA, Brewery Ommegang and Clinton Hall invite you to celebrate Belgian Independence Day tomorrow from 6:00 – 11:00pm with authentic brews and free waffles.
You can be one of the only people in the city to drink Ommegang’s dry-hopped, tangerine-laced 2015 Belgian Independence Day Tripel. The Cooperstown-based brewery makes only one beer for BID each year, and it’s available for just one more week. Not your cup of tea? You can throw back an authentic and extremely rare Liefman Cuvee Brut, a tart, yeasty, slightly-sweet Belgian beer blended with cherries — brewed only once a year.
Beer aside, there will be waffles.
The Wafles & Dinges truck will be on-site and offering a free waffle to the first 200 people to order a beer.
