Hummus Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of tahini (optional it’s good without it)
  • 1 small clove of crushed garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • food processor

Steps

1. Drain your chickpeas

2. Add all ingredients to the food processor minus the olive oil and blend.

3. Drizzle in the olive oil as you are blending. Blend for about 3-5 minutes or until you have a smooth consistency.

That’s it!

Serve with some pita toasts or pretzels or vegetables your guests will rave. If you are feeling creative you can add some roasted peppers or some pesto or any other ingredients to make a flavored hummus. Have fun with it.
