Put Shake Shack on your bucket list and cross it off. You have to try one of these moist, delicious burgers. Best burger in New York?! That’s a huge statement for a city that has a plethora of delicious burgers. I would however place it at the top of the list. The potato bun is soft and the patty is well seasoned and moist. The special sauce on the “Shack Burger” is what catapults this burger into one of the contenders for the best. It adds that needed kick and extra flare to an already amazing creation. As far as the fries go they seem like an afterthought because you could most certainly get better fries and many other places in the city minus the long wait. Who goes to Shake Shack for the fries anyway? The shakes held up to the hype although the strawberry was sickening sweet. I guess when paired with the saltiness of the fries and the burgers it’s a nice compliment. Overall, its worth a try when you have an afternoon off and about 30-40 minutes to wait for a burger.
