Buttermilk fried chicken, cheddar waffles, grilled flatbread with squash blossoms and duck meatloaf are just a few of the amazing dishes Buttermilk channel serves with style. The food here is great. Brunch or dinner you really can’t go wrong. I went during the last half hour of service, which everyone curses me under their breath at that time, but it’s a great way to gauge the quality of a restaurant. The food was spot on and the meal opened with a complimentary yummy popover with honey glaze. I don’t usually like to begin my meal with something sweet, but in this case it was a really good balance of sweet and savory it wasn’t overpowering and not to mention a creative start to a delicious meal. The service was also really great and the servers were knowledgable and friendly. If you haven’t been yet, go pop your Buttermilk Channel cherry.
