Pat’s King of Steaks and Geno’s Steaks Both a Mis-steak!

Ok, I’m going to say it. I went to Philly and I had to try both places. Just because they were the first doesn’t mean they are the best. I was really grossed out by both. I’ve had better cheesesteaks in New York. I went to Pat’s first and they were actually super rude to me at the window because I didn’t have the cheesesteak “lingo” down. Then I got my sandwich and the meat was grizzly and gross and super chewy. After I got over my disappointment at Pat’s I walked across the street to Geno’s hoping for cheesesteak redemption and was actually even more disappointed by their sandwich. You can tell they just crank them out of those places like an assembly line and somehow the quality has severely suffered. Although, I read about these places being “tourist traps” I had to go review them myself to save all those tourists out there. Save yourself the trip and try Tony Luke’s instead.
