Tom Colicchio’s american nouveau restaurant in the Flatiron district is good. I went for lunch and had the veal ricotta meatballs and they were really moist and tender and bursting with flavor. So, if you are a meatball lover you have to try these. If not, there are plenty of fresh menu items that are sure to wet your whistle. This restaurant exudes this chef’s simplistic approach to cooking and in this instance less is more. I sat at the bar and the bartender was really friendly and welcoming, which is a nice change from some of the stuffy, snooty service you get from time to time at these New York hotspots. Go check out Craft if you are in the area and you are prepared to spend between $30-$40 a plate.
