We’ve all grown up eating Rice Krispy treats. Now, here’s a place that has made this cherished treat grow up with us. Treat House on the Upper West Side is a little bakery, that serves modern “adult” twists on this classic rice and marshmallow snack. The idea of Treat House all started from a bake sale where they decided to add a little culinary spark to the classic Rice Krispy treat. The first flavors were mint-chocolate cookie, butter scotch sprinkle, and cherry-dark chocolate. The bake sale turned into an instant success, so they decided to open a place where you could get these awesome dressed up rice treats on the regular. They offer flavors like blueberry pie, chocolate peanut butter, red velvet and chocolate raspberry. Rice Krispies should always be in the news.
