Think you know street fairs? Think again. Chelsea Eats is gearing up to be a one-of-a-kind journey through the best of New York’s distinctive Chelsea neighborhood. On Saturday, September 26th, from 11:00am-6:00pm, this high-end market will take over 8th Avenue from 14th-23rd Streets. There will be hand-selected local vendors, from food, to cocktails, to visual artists and entertainment, everything that makes Chelsea… well, Chelsea.
The distinctive list of vendors includes local favorites like Melt Bakery, Alchemy Creamery, Brooklyn Oyster Party, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Duck Season, and WtfMLN. After you eat your fill of tasty bites, check out visual artist UTA Brauser or head over to the Joyce Theater for a range of dance acts from tap and jazz to salsa and ballet. There will also be plenty of local merchants to browse, like Paper*Crane*Heart, The Green Palette, and Brooklyn Bar Body and Bath. And be sure to grab a drink at one of the beer and wine gardens courtesy of restaurants located along the market strip, like Pound & Ounces and Bareburger.
Created by Pop Up New York, Chelsea Eats promises to be a one-of-a-kind event chock full of artisanal food, brilliant entertainment, and premium crafts. And best of all, Chelsea Eats will benefit local charity organizations.Chelsea Eats
