I don’t know about the best in the world, but certainly really good especially for the price. The tables are all communal seating so if you don’t mind sitting with a bunch of strangers asking them to “please pass the hot oil” then this is the place for you. Their crab and pork soup dumplings are what put this place on the map if you’ve never had a soup dumpling you have to go and try them. No, the dumplings are not in a soup it’s the other way around. The soup is in the dumpling. They are tricky little suckers to eat and can be piping hot inside, but once you’ve mastered the soup dumpling art you’ll be hooked on these meaty, salty little gems. The only downfall is the next day you wake up looking like a swollen soup dumpling from all the salt. Small price to pay for a delicious cheap find.
