If two for one bloody mary’s and bottomless coffee isn’t enough to get you in here for brunch, they do have some of the creamiest, delicious cheddar grits we’ve tried in Brooklyn thus far. The service was really slow and it took quite a long time to get our food, but if you are drinking bloody mary’s and dining with someone semi interesting to talk to the wait is not terrible. This american nouveau, southern soul inspired brunch menu offers quite a few choices from chicken and waffles to biscuits and gravy and if that’s not enough to clog an artery they offer thick-cut candied bacon, which is to die for. Literally. It’s not a bad stop for brunch if you’re not in a rush. You can also walk off that meal and stroll over to the Brooklyn Flea after. Sounds like a decent Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
