Here is an event for the cupcake lovers out there, it’s a “sweet” 5k aka 3.1 mile race. You will stop at 3 cupcake checkpoints along the way and stuff your face. The race takes place on October 19th, 2013 in Astoria Park at 11am. Your admission is about 50 bucks and includes the three cupcakes, a gift bag, a nifty T-shirt and a drink at the after party at Rocky McBrides in Astoria. We hate running, but would sprint knowing there is a cupcake at the end of it all. Get out to this event and run!
