The fifth annual Beer, Bourbon and BBQ festival makes its way to the big apple on January 25th, 2014! If you decide to attend here is what you can expect: Three different sessions of all things BBQ! You can do a bacon bash tasting session, which is basically everything bacon, beer and bourbon. You can do a whole hog session, which is a sampling of beer and bourbon, plus a pulled pork dinner with all the fixin’s. Or you can choose the grand poobah session, which is admission to both sessions, plus pitmasters, master distillers, and a master tasting class!
This festival is located at a place called The Tunnel, which is at 608 West 28th Street in Chelsea. It is basically an open space with wood floors and brick walls that will be filled with this BBQ madness. This is the fifth year of this festival so this time they have limited the number of tickets so there will be less people and more awesome food so hurry up and get your tickets before they sell out!
The tickets range from $99-199 depending on the session(s) you choose. This really looks like a good time and a good way to keep warm in January! This event is packed with whole hogs, hillbilly bartenders, bluegrass music and serious BBQ. Get to it. Yeeeeehawww!
