Makers, artists, farmers and chefs are taking over this creative space in downtown Brooklyn. Dekalb Market is bringing a sense of community and culture to Flatbush Avenue. Some of the renovated shipping containers include gourmet sandwiches, mini doughnuts, coffee a bakery and some serious retail vendors. This is a great place to spend an afternoon and bring your family. They have plenty of space to sit with tented picnic tables and they even have free wifi so you can pretend you are working. It’s located directly off the Q,B and R train station to Dekalb and near Atlantic Center trains and just a short walk from Jay Street. Get over there and check it out!
