Don’t miss this! The New Amsterdam market begins Sunday, April 29th from 11am-4pm and will continue every Sunday throughout the spring and summer months. The market is located at the old Fulton Fish Market in Lower Manhattan, which is on South Street between Beekman Street and Peck Slip. This market is packed with artisan treats and outstanding farmers, producers, distributors, purveyors, cooks, chefs, caterers and other advocates and supporters of regional food systems, responsible sourcing, and the dynamic culture of the public market. The season opens with 15 local bakers who will be creating their vision of a great loaf of bread made with flour from a variety of grains now being grown in our region. Get out there and support responsible sourcing, delicious eating and the redevelopment of the East River Market District in Lower Manhattan.
