Julienne is a beautiful knife cut that adds a level of elegance to your dishes. You can also julienne root vegetables to help them cook faster. Best of all it’s easy. Here’s how.
1. Wash your vegetable (peel it as well if necessary).
2. Cut the root ends off (if necessary) and cut into manageable pieces.
3. Cut lengthwise into small strips.
4. Stack strips and cut lengthwise once more.
