Hey guys we’ve simplified sauteing for you! Sauteing is cooking with direct heat and basically searing the outside of your food sealing in juices and flavor. It’s cooking with high heat for a short period of time. This method is wonderful for pretty much any meats, fish or vegetables you choose to use. Here are some really easy rules to follow when sauteing:
Make sure your pan is really hot.
Lightly coat the bottom of the pan with oil or butter. (canola works great)
Dry your food before putting it into the pan.
Make sure you use the proper sized pan. Don’t crowd and don’t use a pan that’s too large.
