Sliced onions are using a wide array of dishes. They are great to use in salads, saute, or for a quick stir fry. Here is a simple way to get perfect slices of onion every time. You’ll get slices so good, it’ll make you cry.
1. Cut off the end opposite the root.
2. Take a pairing knife and peel the onion.
3. Cut the onion in half through the root.
4. Take one of the halves and slice downward thinly.
