Keizo Shimamoto is one smart noodle with his new concoction the ramen burger. He grew up eating ramen and he grew up eating burgers, so why not put them together?! Creating lines at Smorgasburg in Williamsburg that could surpass the Cronut line? No way. Yes way. Keizo is putting beef burgers on custom-made ramen noodle buns. He gets his noodles from Sun Noodle and then makes buns out of them and fries them in sesame oil on a skillet. He uses beef patties that are a little higher in fat content than your normal beef burger because he wants to keep the patties moist and have plenty of juices to run off into your noodle bun. He tops this whole thing off with a secret soy sauce based topping and fresh chopped scallions. He only brings about 100 burgers a day so get there early.
