The (Mindblowing) Reverse Burger

When I first watched AskMen’s tutorial for creating this inside out burger, I couldn’t help but yelp with joy. This is the logic behind the “proper” way to eat a cupcake (have you never put the bottom half of a cupcake on top for even distribution of icing? genius.), and it is revolutionary in the burger realm.

Care to give it a try? Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Ground Beef, 1 cup
  • French Bread, 1 cup
  • Milk, 1/2 cup
  • Steak Seasoning, 1 tbsp
  • Parsley, 1/2 cup
  • Egg, 1
  • Flour, 2 tbsp
  • Panko Breadcrumbs, 3/4 cup
  • Gouda Cheese, 1 slice

First, cut the bread into small cubes and toss it in a mixing bowl with the flour, egg, milk, parsley, and steak seasoning. Once the ingredients are well-melded, form a patty and slap it on a medium-high grill pan.Then, beef. Mix with the steak seasoning, form it into 2 patties, coat each in Panko breadcrumbs, and shallow fry those puppies in a pan with oil.

Finally, formation: beef patty ‘bun’, bread patty, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayo…. top with second beef patty ‘bun’. Damn delicious. Now, enjoy.
