If you don’t have time to waste, we recommend going straight for the navy strength gin -114 proof- no joke. Look no further than The Shanty, where they make their own, as they are conveniently the bar of the New York Distilling Company. To ease us into the 57% ABV in their Perry’s Tot gin, they have added some Cocchi Americano, an Italian aperitif wine, and some Green Chartreuse, an herbal liqueur, to bring us the delicious 50 Fathoms.
